Charles Anderson Landscape Architecture was founded with the goal of creating places for civic expression and the revela-tion of ecological phenomena, processes, and relationships. The work of this firm is a continuation of Charles Anderson's previous firm at Anderson and Ray, founded in 1994. The three principals of the office bring a broad base of exceptional experience to the studio. Our collective work includes large scale master planning, parks, historic landscape and ecological restoration, interpretive centers, and major civic and institutional landscapes. While based in Seattle, our work includes national and international projects.

We are a group of passionate designers committed to the use of ecological materials and plants to create expressive landscape form. We are guided by a land ethic of stewardship, diversity, and sustainability with a knowledge of natural systems that is field tested and thoughtfully employed to ensure that each design is appropriate to its place in the neighborhood, the city, and the region.
